I have always had an interest in health and disease (dis-ease) issues and especially cancer-related illnesses. The big interest to really be toxin-free came during my pregnancy and continued after I had my daughter, as I then became aware of all the synthetic carcinogenic ingredients present in all day body care, house care and cosmetic products and toiletries. I had two issues for years that made me search for healthy and safe alternative products. Toothpastes and mouthrinses made the inside of my mouth peel and my lips also became very sensitive with stinging and burning sensation all day long as well as chapped lips, even during the summer. I am concerned about harmful ingredients present in cosmetics and found that I was allergic to most products from various brands and cosmetic houses and eventually only used the bare minimum.
